About Surin of Thailand Atlanta
Surin of Thailand β a Virginia-Highland cornerstone bringing Thai cuisine to Atlanta. For decades, Surin of Thailand has stood at the corner of North Highland as a beloved neighborhood destination for Thai cuisine. Our chefs bring recipes and techniques passed down through generations β hand-pounded curry pastes, jasmine rice steamed to order, and the balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy that defines the Thai kitchen.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food was delicious and the server was attentive and nice. I got the spicy noodle dish which had a level 2 spice on the menu but definitely level 1 spicy imo. Maybe wouldβve preferred different music personally, but good experience, good food, and good prices.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The spicy beef drunken noodles were incredibleβperfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat and flavor. You can tell everything is made fresh and well-balanced. The service was just as greatβfriendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. The atmosphere also made the experience even better, super welcoming and a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Definitely one of my go-to spots for Thai food. Highly recommend!

I visited Surin of Thailand after it came highly recommended by one of my friends. We were greeted instantly and quickly found some seats at the bar. Sebio (hope I spelled that correctly) was fantastic and he made the most amazing drinks. My friend and I ordered the soho lychee martinis and my coworker ordered a ginger martini (I cant remember the specific name). We ordered La Proud Lamb, Panang Curry, and the Thai BBQ chicken from the lunch special which came with the coconut soup. The food was good, but the soup really stood out for me. Iβd never had it before, but I found it to be one of the most delicious things Iβd ever eaten. Definitely give this place a try! Go see Sebio!

Stopped in for lunch and the food was good, reasonably priced and packed with flavor. The complimentary soup was a highlight. The Surin Basket appetizer was fun as well. There is a paid lot for parking behind the building, but we were able to find street parking just down the block .
